Die Strände von Jandia sind auch in diesem Jahr der Austragungsort der 26. Weltmeisterschaft im Windsurfen und Kitesurfen
-             Die Wettkämpfe beginnen am 22. Juli mit den weltbesten Surfern.
Die Besten unseres Planeten werden sich in den verschiedenen Disziplinen, dem Windsurfen und dem Kite boarden, messen, und das, auf der größten Freilichtbühne des Südens, dem Strand von Jandia, einer Bühne, die ihresgleichen sucht. Alle Surfer werden ihr Bestes geben, sich in Duellen vergleichen und natürlich Punkte sammeln, damit sie auch den Titel „ Champion Mundial „, „ Weltmeister „ bekommen. Surfer und Surfbegeisterte werden sich am Strand versammeln, um ein einzigartiges Schauspiel beobachten und bewundern zu können..
Aber das Event berücksichtigt nicht nur die Surfer. So gibt es, wie schon im vergangenen Jahr, die CARPA DE DIA, das Festzelt des Tages, das alle einlädt, von dort aus die Wettkämpfe zu beobachten, während sie an den verschiedenen Ständen der Carpa für ihr leibliches Wohl sorgen und typisches, nationales und internationales Essen genießen und eisgekühlte Getränke schlürfen. Das sommerliche Vergnügen wird durch LIVE-MUSIK und verschiedene Auftritte und Darbietungen abgerundet und es kann natürlich auch getanzt werden.
Selbstverständlich steht den Nachtschwärmern die beliebte Diskothek im großen Zelt ab 22.00 Uhr zur Verfügung. Vom 22. Juli bis zum 6. August, also jede Nacht, kann man im Sand des Strandes tanzen und das phantastische Ambiente zur Musik bis in den frühen Morgen guter Bands genießen.
Das Patronat für Tourismus, die Gemeinde Pájara und der Veranstalter René Egli, mit weiterer Unterstützung von Promotur Turismo de Canarias, organisierten dieses Ereignis für Besucher jeden Alters, jeder Nationalität, in der Hoffnung, allen Beteiligten ein faszinierendes und unvergessliches Erlebnis zu bieten.

Las Playas de Jandía acogen el XXVI Campeonato del Mundo de Windsurfing y Kitesurfing de Fuerteventura

El próximo viernes día 22 de julio arranca la XXVI edición del Campeonato del Mundo de Windsurf y Kite boarding Fuerteventura 2011. Un año más, los mejores del planeta en las diferentes disciplinas de windsurf y kiteboarding se dan cita en el escenario inigualable de las playas sureñas del territorio insular, para batirse en duelo y sumar puntos con los que hacerse con el título de campeones mundiales. Deportistas y aficionados se congregan en la playa para disfrutar de un espectáculo garantizado.
Pero no sólo para deportistas está pensado el evento. La carpa de día, que repite por segundo año consecutivo, invita a todas las personas a visitar la sede del encuentro y disfrutar de un día de playa siguiendo las pruebas de los campeones, mientras toman un aperitivo y un refresco en la misma orilla del mar, acompañado todo por música en vivo y actuaciones al mejor estilo veraniego. Allí es posible.
Además, para los apasionados de la noche la carpa nocturna es el plan perfecto. Desde el 22 de julio hasta el 6 de agosto, todas las noches, una carpa sobre la arena acoge a miles de personas que se congregan en un ambiente formidable para bailar al ritmo de la música en directo.
El Patronato de Turismo de Fuerteventura, El Ayuntamiento de Pájara y René Egli, con la colaboración de Promotur Turismo de Canarias,  organizan este evento, punto de encuentro diseñado para gente de todas las edades, de todas las nacionalidades, pero con la característica común de querer pasar un rato fascinante.

CABILDO DE FUERTEVENTURA

On Friday July 22, Fuerteventura hosts the 26th World Championship Windsurfing and Kite boarding competition. Every year the best in the world in different disciplines of windsurfing and kite boarding appear together on a stage surrounded by the unrivalled beaches of southern Fuerteventura, where they fiercely compete to become the champion of the World. Athletes and fans alike flock to the beach to enjoy a guaranteed extravaganza of expertise in this ever popular sport.
Do not be misled into thinking that the sport alone is the only attraction, open day, repeated for the second consecutive year, invites everyone to visit the command centre of the meeting and enjoy a day at the beach following the gladiatorial combat of champions, while having a snack and a soda at the seashore, accompanied by live music with all performances adding to the best summer style possible.
In addition for all those of you who want to party into the night a tent is provided every night from July 22nd to August 6th and is home to thousands of revelers intent on having the best party imaginable whilst dancing to live music.
This event is organized by the Fuerteventura Tourist Board, Pájara City Council and René Egli in collaboration with Canary Tourism.
It is an event designed to attract people of all ages and nationalities, all with a common interest of wanting to experience a fascinating time.
